Government Funding
The nursery accepts government funding. Parents/carers declaration forms will be given to each parent to complete and return to the nursery, in the term your child is eligible for the grant.

Allergies and Special Diets
Please inform the nursery manager if you have any special dietary requirements due to allergies, religion or other.

Rest and Sleep
Whilst at the nursery children are allowed to rest and sleep as they require. There is no rigid routine for rest periods. Please speak to your child’s Key Worker regarding sleep patterns of your child. Comforter and dummies may be brought to the nursery, however toys should remain at home. Staff cannot be responsible for toys lost or broken at nursery.

Special Needs
At Jack and Jill’s Nursery we have a strong commitment to children with special needs and strive to meet the needs of all children. We have trained staff that have experience with children with health, educational or behavioural concerns.

Starting Nursery
Parents and carers are welcome in our Nursery at all times. You will be expected to stay with your child when first being introduced to our nursery. The period of separation is slowly lengthened, until your child is settled and confident. The time needed for the adjustment will vary from child to child.
